Now looking east to the TRAX mainline, just beyond the orange barrier (you can see the mainline catenary). We are on the old D&RGW Sugarhouse branch right-of-way. It crossed the old UP Provo subdivision (where the TRAX main runs) at a 90 degree angle. From this vantage point it does not appear there is sufficient room for the West Valley branch to get an angle on and join the mainline. This is not so, as the next photo will show. Next.
